Paintless Dent Repair Training
Live, hands-on instruction on real automotive panels at the Dent Repair USA shop in North Lakeland, Florida. This is not an online course. It is not a short classroom program built around handing you a certificate. It is a mentorship with a Vale Certified Master Craftsman, and it is built the way this trade is actually learned: repetition, correction, and accountability.
The Truth First
Paintless dent repair cannot be mastered in a single week. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a certificate, not a skill. You may receive a certificate after completing the appropriate training here, but that paper is not proof of mastery and I will never present it that way. What this program gives you is the knowledge, the fundamentals, real panel time, and the continued mentorship it takes to build genuine competence.
Training Options
Advanced Training
For working technicians who need focused help: specific techniques, difficult damage, speed, finishing, tool control, access strategies, or any advanced skill holding you back. One-on-one, on panels, on your problem areas.
One Week of Training
Intensive hands-on panel work and instruction covering the foundational knowledge required to continue developing as a paintless dent repair technician. A serious first step.
Two-Week Intensive
The recommended starting point for anyone who seriously intends to enter the paintless dent repair industry and eventually operate a successful business. Two weeks builds the foundation the three-month mentorship is built on.
This Is a Three-Month Mentorship, Not a One-Time Class
The complete training process is designed as a three-month mentorship program. Here is how it works:
- Weeks 1 and 2: Intensive hands-on training. Full days at the shop, on real panels, building fundamentals under direct supervision.
- You return home with assigned practice work. Structured repetition is where skill actually forms. You will know exactly what to practice and to what standard.
- Follow-up sessions approximately every two weeks, or at least once each month, depending on your progress, availability, and skill level. These sessions evaluate your progress, correct bad habits before they set, improve technique, solve the problems you hit in practice, and move you to the next level. Individual follow-up classes are priced separately according to the length and type of instruction required.
More Than Dent Removal
Pushing metal is half the trade. The other half decides whether you make a living at it. Throughout the program you will also receive guidance on:
- Operating a paintless dent repair business
- Evaluating damage and pricing repairs correctly
- Dealing with customers honestly and profitably
- Choosing tools that earn their cost
- Establishing efficient repair processes
- Developing the judgment required to work independently, including knowing when to say no
Out of Town Students
Lodging is available on site or immediately adjacent to the training location for students traveling to North Lakeland. For the recommended two-week intensive program, lodging is an additional $1,000, covering room and board so you can stay close to the shop and training area and keep your focus on the work.
Limited transportation or vehicle accommodations may be available for qualified out-of-town students. These arrangements are subject to availability, insurance requirements, and verification of a satisfactory driving record. A vehicle is not guaranteed.
