Since day one, Dent Repair USA has been built around a single technician doing everything — estimating, invoicing, scheduling, collecting. But most shops that survive long enough stop being one person. You bring on a second tech, then a third, and suddenly the hardest part of your week isn't fixing dents — it's figuring out who did what, who's owed what, and whether the books agree with any of it.
Version 2.7 is for that moment. It's the biggest release we've ever shipped, and all of it points at one idea:
Every Dent Repair USA account now has a Team. Your technicians open the app, go to Tech Network → My Team, and enter your callsign. You approve them once — and from then on, every invoice they write rolls up to your dashboard: hail, retail, and wholesale broken out, with running totals per tech.
Set each technician's pay as a commission percentage or a flat rate per job, and the app keeps score for you: what they've produced, what you've paid, what you still owe. When it's payday, one tap marks it settled.
It's built on consent, both directions. A tech explicitly agrees to invoice sharing before their request is even sent, the pay figures are informational — your actual arrangement stays between you — and either side can detach at any time. Your crew keeps their own accounts, their own apps, their own history. You just finally get to see the business you're actually running.
One question came up constantly: "Can I just cover my guy's subscription?" Now you can. From the web portal's Team page, buy a plan for any attached technician — same plans, same prices, your card — and their account fuels up automatically. If they ever leave the team, the billing stops on its own. No orphaned subscriptions, no awkward conversations.
Your roster shows a FUELED badge next to every tech, so you always know whose invoices are flowing and whose aren't.
Connect QuickBooks Online once — a single sign-in on the web portal — and your bookkeeping starts doing itself. The moment a job is marked paid in the app, the invoice appears in QuickBooks: customer matched or created, your invoice number carried over, the payment recorded against it, and sales tax booked as tax instead of income. Your accountant will notice the difference before you do.
It's one-way and duplicate-proof by design. QuickBooks never touches your app data, no job ever syncs twice, and if you'd rather push invoices by hand, the one-click sync button is right there on the portal. Running a crew? Your technicians' team invoices can flow into the company books too.
Travel deposits. Protect your drive time with a non-refundable travel deposit on any appointment — mileage-based, editable, paid through a secure Square link, with paid status visible everywhere. Mobile-service bookings can require it up front, before you leave the shop.
Smarter scheduling. The scheduler keeps your day geographically sane: same-day jobs cluster together, far-away bookings can't sneak onto a packed day, and rush-hour windows are respected. You stay in control — your own bookings are never blocked, you just get a heads-up.
Sharper lead screening. Imported customer requests carry a lead-confidence score, so spam and burner submissions are obvious before you waste a drive — and you can block bad senders on the spot.
Version 2.7 is rolling out now on the App Store and Google Play, and the web portal is already live. Everything above works across iPhone, Android, and the web — in all ten languages the app speaks.
